Senga Nengudi

I first saw Senga in the film ‘Not For Sale’ by Laura Cottingham (a good friend of Peter Brandt’s who Carolee Schneemann called “stupid” and I think she might be right). I wrote Senga and sent her a ‘Double Trouble’ catalog and we traded work. I think Senga is one of the most important artists alive today. Senga lives in Colorado Springs we have never met only talked on the phone and corresponded by email and post. – SMW.
