Lucy Lippard

Lucy is a force. Period. I received a postcard from her in New Mexico which I still have (her in N.M.) she was responding to me sending her the ‘Double Trouble’ catalog. I will always connect her with Eva Hesse and the book she made on Eva. She changed art history along with people like Arlene Raven. – SMW.

“In between, during shorts breaks we discuss Tony Cokes, and how Sands is attracted to these ‘clear messages’-a bold text on a screen, seemingly simple, effective, thinking as well of Lucy Lippard’s book ‘Get the message’ (1984).” From the meta-archive process diary. – RR.
